A silly ode to my car, a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX sedan. No significance, other than that it was the first 'brand new' car I'd ever purchased (I was 41), and, it is a very cool car. My previous car, for the past thirteen years, was my trusty Subaru GL 4WD wagon. It had about 212,000 miles on it when I gave it to my brother in law about a year after getting the WRX. It is still in service.

I ordered my WRX on 27mar01, the vehicle was built during apr01, and I took delivery into my hot little hands on 12may01. Subaru is only producing about 10,000 to 12,000 WRX's for the United States market that first year.
